Long exposures and zooming out the lens. I need to go do this ASAP!

Cavatelli lunghi. orecchiette. cavatelli. tortellone. cappelletti. gnocchetti, all handmade by Linda Pugliese.

Whoa whoa whoa, no more 200 photo limit viewing limit? Now that’s what I’m talking about! It gets rid of that ridiculous “you can only see 200 photos at a time on your account” thing and 300MB a month is nothing compared to a free terabyte. But great, now all those random photo sets and photos I’ve uploaded in the past have resurfaced. Time to organize all of them…
Everyone, I’m elated to tell you that Tumblr will be joining Yahoo.
Before touching on how awesome this is, let me try to allay any concerns: We’re not turning purple. Our headquarters isn’t moving. Our team isn’t changing. Our roadmap isn’t changing. And our mission – to empower creators to make their best work and get it in front of the audience they deserve – certainly isn’t changing.
So what’s new? Simply, Tumblr gets better faster. The work ahead of us remains the same – and we still have a long way to go! – but with more resources to draw from.
Yahoo is the original Internet company, and Marissa and her team share our dream to make the Internet the ultimate creative canvas. I couldn’t be more excited to have her help. We also share a vision for Tumblr’s business that doesn’t compromise the community and product we love. Plus both our logos end with punctuation!
As always, everything that Tumblr is, we owe to this unbelievable community. We won’t let you down.
Fuck yeah,
David
When I first heard news about Yahoo! trying to acquire Tumblr, I was simply appalled by the idea since I thought it’d mean different people handling tumblr—meaning a different vision from the one I’ve grown to love so much. But now seeing that Tumblr is joining Yahoo!, I’m really seeing some great things in the future. Notably with Yahoo!’s other recent purchase of Summly, I think Tumblr and Summly would go great together if they decide to implement that. But I’m eager to see the new features!

I just love this type of animation. So smooth and pleasant to watch.
Sick beats paired with smooth, simple gameplay, I recommend trying this out! No installation required, just runs on a web browser.
Building the Web Together
Not that I wasn’t motivated before, but wow this got me extremely motivated to learn more about web development.
I was testing out some cloud brushes I made in Photoshop last night and went little crazy with them. Each drawing was done under an hour. I will be making a tutorial plus download to the brushes after I finish the next Fisheye Placebo strip :)
