The ultimate Google Phone?
Such a good looking phone, and that stock android interface is so appealing as well. Why must the camera be so horrible. Apparently Google says it’s more software than hardware issues but I’m pretty unconvinced still. Guess I’m leaning back into the iPhone 5S or just waiting for the iPhone 6 since one of the main/most important functions I use my phone for is to take photos on-the-go that can really portray the moment well.
I’ve also been doing a lot more reading on the phone so that bigger screen was even more appealing.
Sick beats paired with smooth, simple gameplay, I recommend trying this out! No installation required, just runs on a web browser.
Building the Web Together
Not that I wasn’t motivated before, but wow this got me extremely motivated to learn more about web development.
You can take a virtual hike up these towering mountains while being able to “turn your head” around each point to get a look at the view! You can even explore the base camps and for some, go into the tents and monasteries.
I also had trouble finding the street view by directly going to google maps and searching the specific mountain. I had to just use the links provided on Google’s blog. Not sure if it’s because they haven’t updated the paths yet or I’m just going about it incorrectly.
Chrome Super Sync Sports
Great theme, music, animation, art, and functionality! Lots of potential here! Achoo!
Zeitgeist 2012: Year In Review
I love these year in reviews that Google does. Really makes me realize the many things that happened in the year, good and bad, happy and sad; although it’s still not the end of the year so things are still currently going on in 2012. I feel like this should have been made after the year was over. Still very moving seeing all these images though and I thought it was great how they animated though still images.
Enhanced voice search on the Google Search App
I’ve been waiting for this Google Search update! Love the interface and it processes so much faster and produces more reasonable results than Siri! It’s also amazing how you can see the words being written out as you speak.
"Google Lets Photographer Into Secretive Data Centers, Beautiful Photos Ensue" (via PetaPixel)
View the high-res photos on the official Google page here, or take a virtual tour with Google’s street view over here! You can even download the photos to use as desktop backgrounds (just look for the “Download Collection” button)!
I must say, these photos are intensely breathtaking. Amazing facilities and an amazing photographer!
Introducing enhanced voice search on the Google Search App
I can’t wait for this to come out! This definitely seems way faster (and hopefully more accurate) than Siri. Plus it has a better searching capability at the moment too!
Montage of Unboxing the Nexus 7
Who knew watching people open this tablet would be so amusing!
