Windows Of New York
New York based graphic designer Jose Guizar latest project.
The Windows of New York project is a weekly illustrated fix for an obsession that has increasingly grown in me since chance put me in this town. A product of countless steps of journey through the city streets, this is a collection of windows that somehow have caught my restless eye out from the never-ending buzz of the city. This project is part an ode to architecture and part a self-challenge to never stop looking up. - Jose Guizar
Especially liking the simple yet creative “carrot” typography. I’m also digging the “mango” font.

I made some icons for my blog redesign. …the question that triggered it this time: “Would I be proud enough to include this in my resume?” I’m horrible at making icons, but I had a pretty solid theme going with the site I’m working on and attempted to incorporate it into making a custom icon set.

Beautiful science illustrations of scale by design duo Brainstorm, a fine addition to these essential visualizations of the scale of the universe.
New MySpace
The new myspace has an amazing interface! I most likely won’t be using it, but it’s pretty to look at! Seems like myspace is finally upping it’s game.
The evolution of Celebrate With Cake - how the website has changed over the years. Note how the focus shifted to the photos, dropping just about everything else.
It’s great seeing the evolutions of certain websites. Speaking of which, I remade the theme for my food blog again. Not completely finished, but at least it’s functional enough for public viewing.
Count on Me
Such beautiful typography! The laughing parts were borderline creepy, but the visuals looked so pretty.

I’m really digging Macaroni Grill’s website! Very aesthetically pleasing!
The Fundamental Elements of Design
Extremely informational in a very short amount of time. Definitely give this video a watch if you’re into graphic designing or if you just want to know more about how you should go about designing anything.
