Sweet Thing - Change The Seasons

I just finished watching the movie Easy A.

It got 85% on Rotten Tomatoes, so I thought why not since it was on Netflix’s instant watch. I assumed it was going to be a movie about school, grades, studying and such, which appealed to me, but after starting the movie, it didn’t seem like anything of that sort. After reading the synopsis, I was right.

The movie was mainly about this teenage girl who basically created rumors to help others. This wasn’t really my type of movie since it was mainly a chick flick with romance, which aren’t my thing. But it was a pretty decent movie. It kind of even reminded me of Mean Girls in some ways, except I enjoyed the humor in that movie more. I liked the story though, about the rumors spreading and how it all came together. Overall just a decent movie to me though as I never really got “into” the movie. 

I give this movie a 6/10 probably mainly because there just wasn’t enough to the movie. I felt like I was riding on the surface the entire time.
